Normal Service is Being Resumed
Boris Johnson, the UK Prime Minister, delivered positive news yesterday claiming that the UK has ‘passed’ the peak of coronavirus deaths. Although much work is still to be done, he said that there is light at the end of the metaphorical tunnel.
We can also announce good news of our own. As businesses all over the country are finding ways to get back to work or function in some capacity, at Cambridge Sensotec we can now announce that we will return to ‘normal’ production from this Monday 4th May.
But it’s not normal as we used to know it. To enable social distancing the production team will be working in the factory on rotation and at a safe distance from colleagues. Gloves and masks will also be available to every team member in the building. The safety of every Cambridge Sensotec employee is our main concern and this process has been carefully thought out beforehand.
This means that we will be back in production and working through the orders which have continued to come in. We will also be able to respond to service and calibration requests. Normal service is being resumed!
