Sampling Kit Launched for SF6 Gas Analyser

Cambridge Sensotec has released a dedicated thermal printer for its popular Rapidox SF₆ Multimeter. The Multimeter is also available with a heavy-duty hard case that contains the gas analyser, printer, paper rolls and a sampling hose.
Cambridge Sensotecs SF₆ Multimeter is designed to assist maintenance of Gas Insulated Substations (GIS) and switchgear. It measures the concentration of SF₆ gas and detects the presence of moisture and damaging arcing products.

SF₆ is a very effective medium for extinguishing arcs and usually remains very stable. However, sometimes the SF₆ breaks down, particularly if moisture is present, and a build-up of arc by-products can damage the equipment. The Rapidox SF₆ Multimeter can confirm that the SF₆ gas is above minimum purity levels and indicate if the gas contains unsafe levels of water or SO₂.
