We’ve extended the Rapidox 3100 Multigas Analyser range!
The Rapidox 3100 Multigas Analyser is a single, dual and triple gas instrument providing the usual high Rapidox performance combined with extra features. A popular choice for universities and research institutes, the 3100 was primarily designed for process and R & D applications in mind.
Part of the 3100’s appeal is the ability to have it in two different versions to suit your needs. The 3100 is available in either a bench version or a 19” rack-mounted version. While the bench version’s design is self-explanatory, the rack-mounted version is housed in a special case which includes a special back-lit recessed flow gauge and gas connections on the rear. These fixtures allow for flush mounting inside industry-standard glass cabinets.
Not only is the 3100 versatile, it’s also convenient. The calibration procedure is easy with the 3100 which allows the user to get back to more important matters, quicker. Also, like with other products in the Rapidox range, there is the Cambridge Sensotec guarantee of low maintenance and longer life sensor expectancy.
Because the 3100 can be set up for different gas configurations, there is a long list of possibilities for what you can measure. Typically, oxygen and one other gas can be measure simultaneously, although other arrangements can be discussed. Some of the measurable gases include oxygen (O2), carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen (H2), moisture (H2O), ethylene (C2H2), chlorine (Cl2), methane (CH2), nitrous oxide (N2O), nitric oxide (NO), ammonia (NH2), sulfur dioxide (SO2) and ozone (O2). Whatever your application, we will be happy to help.
With regards to more specific details of the analyser, an important feature is how the flow of the test gas works. There is a gauge/needle valve on the front panel and from here the flow of the test gas can be adjusted. An optional powerful long-life pump draws a gas sample at a flow rate set by the user between 0-1 litres per minute. If neither of those options is suitable, the unit can always just be switched off and the analyser can be operated under flowing gas conditions.
There is so much to like about the 3100 and this is without mentioning the other standard features that feature across the Rapidox range. Included on either the bench or rack mount is four fully programmable alarm circuits, RS232 / RS485 / ModBus-RTU communications and complete data logging software. Another feature of note is the Type K thermocouple input and sensor which are for independent temperature measurements up to 1250°C.
